Small sacrifices.

No, not the movie... I'm talking about those little simple things people do for you which basically is not a big deal to them but to you it's sort of tear-jerking. Like how someone holds the elevator for you even though she's almost late for her appointment or how your boss gave you a surprise day-off. Those small gestures touches me. I think the world would be a better place if most of us are like that; sweet and more human despite not knowing or asking the price of our kindness. People need to learn to live more unconditionally.

Dear Dom,

Don't you hate it when your brain thinks of something really funny in the most inappropriate situations? I look totally weird with that goofy smile on my face inside the jeepney. If you ever come across that sitch, just smile and look at the person who is most likely going to smile back. It works. Not only it will make things less awkward., but you, my friend, just made a stranger smile.

It's almost Christmas. Is that why I'm not hearing anything from you? Look. I'm not asking for a present. In fact, I'm not materialistic. All I want for Christmas is to see all those U-shaped lips on people's faces. Especially my kapwa- Leyteans. I've heard the news about another super typhoon circling the Pacific. Geez. I wish it'll disappear. It will be a bummer for Christmas if it they will have to spend it without a house or without a complete family.

*sigh*

Anyways, if you're thinking of giving me a animal-related present (like the stuffed toy goat you gave me), I'm suddenly into octopuses right now. Or is it octopi? Octopod? Whatever. I'm into those brainless flexible eight-tentacled cephalopod you see in the ocean. Anything related to that will make my day. Did you know they have three hearts?

I didn't know until I spent 3 hours researching about them. Haha.
