Bleeding Love

"That's life."

No. That's not life. Don't believe them. It's how they want you think what life is; causing you to conclude that you have nothing more to do because it's a dead end. But it never is. You can climb the wall, go around it or dig a hole under it. One way or another, you will eventually arrive on the other side.

All you need is love. Ha. Ha. Ha.

Awwwww <3
---------------------------------------

If you listened to AM's Do I Wanna Know and you feel nothing then you need to get a doctor 'cause that song is effin' sad. Listened to it a dozen times and my face is like imma cry now, imma cry. I mean, even in you're happy, when you hear it, you'll probably roll down and sob. I was trying to find a song that could make me think of a good metaphor of love (may it be good love or bad) for my homework and I thought Arctic Monkey's was the perfect artist to listen to.

Do I Wanna Know made me think of a person who has this long tube attached to his heart/chest and somebody is dragging him around using the edge of the tube. The dragger (?) is seen with another lover and when she let's go of ze tube he would fall down and have a hard time breathing and moving. But she'd pick the tube again and he'll gain life. But it happens too many times that the woman never picked the tube again so he sorta died. Tough love.

I threw the story in the trash bin. I didn't like it. XD My teacher might think I'm crazy.. in bad way.

So I listened to another song *flips messy notebook*: Snap Out Of It. And it made me think of a woman who's so unfortunate in love that she could see arrows being shot by cupids. She goes around town and plucks arrows from people who are deeply in love. Oh, and she also kidnaps cupids and keeps them in prison. But eventually, one day, all the cupids escaped and shot arrows at her. And she kinda fell in love with somebody. I think the story is cute. So I threw it also in the bin. Haha.

I actually submitted the story inspired from I Wanna Be Yours. It was a about a woman who fell in love with a mannequin. She'd eat with it, talk to it and make love to it. She realized that the doll can't give her love back despite her efforts so... wait for it: she poured wax all over herself to become a mannequin. Cool, huh? No? Hear me out. It's a metaphor of a one-sided love. Technically the girl can't feel love anymore.

Got an A+. Yey!
*insert soft applause*

I only listened to sad songs, btw. Despite the happiness I share to people, I just realized how addicted I am to songs that make me think I'm heartbroken, sad, depressed or sober. And I have to admit, I kinda have this "thing" with punishments. Like, if I do something wrong, I would put myself in misery. I had it when I was still young: I won't eat or I'd humiliate myself in front of people. I guess I'm trying to be my own karma. My parents know about it. I guess. It was worse then. Now, I'd occasionally do it.

It's called self-sabotage.

It is when people who seem to have everything going for them engage in some foolish behavior that either kills them, hurts them, or gets them into trouble. People use drugs, break the law, steal, starve themselves, find and stay in abusive relationships, cheat on their spouse, drive too fast, drink themselves to death, overeat, don't exercise, push people away, or don't go to the doctor when they get
sick.
Perhaps they may not consciously want to destroy themselves or die. But unconsciously, somewhere inside them, there is a death wish. Freud said that everyone has a death wish, a desire to die, a love of death, thanatos. But I believe some people are more prone to self-sabotage than others.

I know I'm not alone.

Let's overcome this together starting by loving one's self unconditionally and always keep in mind that you deserve better. Because you do.

"I love myself; therefore, I work at a job that I truly enjoy doing, one that uses my creative talents and abilities, working with and for people that I love and that love me, and earning a good income. I love myself; therefore, I behave and think in a loving way to all people, for I know that that which I give out returns to be multiplied. I only attract loving people in my world, for they are a mirror of what I am. I love myself; therefore I forgive and totally release the past and all past experiences and I am free." - Louise Hay
