Dear Lazy Days,

Public International Law.
Essentials of Evidence.
1987 Philppine Constitution

Geez. Wala na bang iba? I'm reading these books and Dad questioned me why I didn't take law.. Like, yeah Dad, me?! An attorney... My sense of fashion wouldn't be welcome in the court. Plus, I just love reading law books. They are...very... lawful.

Ba-dum-bing!
Get it?

No? Okay.

So, today I honor Mr. William Ernest Henley. (Yey, Henley!) *applause*

His poem made it to my list of 'most-awesome-poems-I-have-ever-read-like-ever...

INVICTUS
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Thanks Henley.. You have inspired me to never give up and never take consideration what other people may say about moi. *salute* So, because of your wise poetic words and your beard... here's a photo of me and Edna with sticker mustaches just for you. Enjoy.

*wink

Eat rocks.
LOVE,
